Professor Child Explores the Challenges of Entering Middle School
Professor Child is excited to share our upcoming film production about the challenges of entering into middle school. We’ll be interviewing children who are going into middle school and those who are already attending. These children will be sharing their personal experiences, which may include their expectations, fears, or advice that has helped with their transition.
The need for a film on this topic was brought to our attention by numerous schools and guidance counselors, looking for a tool to help kids entering middle school. This topic really hit home with one of our partners, Rory Kidder. Rory has a son who will be entering 8th grade in the fall and has experienced this transition first hand. Her son, Simon, is super excited to be a part of this film and help other kids by sharing his own experience.
We will be filming our interviews in mid-August and would love to hear from you about your experience. What questions do you have about entering middle school? What kinds of things would have been helpful to know? What questions would you like to ask a middle school student? We’ll be gathering your responses to these questions, and any other input/suggestions you have, to help guide us in this project. Please send your questions and input/suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
From all of us at Professor Child, we thank you for your continued interest and support.
